Awesome for people starting a project with no design skills. UX is great, congrats 👏
Doesn't work when I click Get Started!
@rosty_sokolov It was bugging out for a minute, fixed now! 🐛
The service seems to be terrific! I will definitely use it for inspiration while working on a new logo
This is what i was searching for all my life <3 Thanks
Hi, tried to use it, but your website it is not working on my mac. It does not load resources or I do not know what are the issues. First it asked me to enter business name twice and then on the next step all the suggestions were blank.
@ivandrag experiencing the same issues on my end
@ivandrag @rosty_sokolov Figured out what's happening here (had me scratching my head for a second). There was an issue if you clicked "Get Started" without typing a name first. Thanks for the heads up, it should work for you now!
@jasondonnette works now. Great tool. Don't need a logo right now, but maybe in the future I will use. The only thing I don't like is the black background of the website, but it just a preference :)) . Good luck with this project.
Is there sorcery involved? For fun I punched in CrowdLoot and for the first suggestion it font-matched my old logo... on a site that no longer exists :\ https://i.imgur.com/VF79tdz.png
REALLY slick interface btw. I may use it for future projects. Are fonts included with the logo packs?
@rossdcurrie no sorcery, just great minds thinking alike! We don't offer the font files with your download pack - you do get every file format and layout variation (as .png and .svg) you would need though. Thanks for checking it out!
@rossdcurrie No sorcery involved, we promise! And unfortunately, no fonts included in the logo packs due to licensing constraints. You can view what assets you get post-purchase here: https://logo.shapefactory.co/files?p=5a950d2741a47f0073590cf3&m=c
Wow! Where in the world was this all these days? Amazingly simple way to create a logo. Kudos to everyone behind the project.
Btw, how does the “Copyright Ownership” that’s included with the kit work? I saw a very similar logo to that of The Verge, wouldn’t that cause a problem later on?

Hey, nice product.
I've been trying to find a good logo maker service for weeks, but unfortunately yours is still not "the one". For me it is VERY important that an automated service has a free downloadable version.
Give me a poor resolution logo, or limit my choices, or oblige me to reference your product on my website, I don't care. When I just want to validate an idea for a website, I want to do it for as cheaply as possible, even if I must have a not-so-great-looking logo for my product.
Moreover, I am not sure why I should pay more than $5 for a logo that is generated automatically if I can hire someone on fiverr for that exact price and get exactly what I want, with at least some "personalized" service and some revisions.
As for the product, it would be nice if I could search for the font name and pick the one I already have in mind. This website (logo.squarespace.com) lets me do that, and they charge only $10 for the final result (which I am still refusing to pay for the moment).
@aviggiano Thanks for checking us out and for the thoughtful reply! We understand our app won't suit everyone's unique needs and some folks will definitely prefer the interaction with a Designer or even a more hands-on process. It's great that this space has a few other products online that approach this problem from different angles to suit all these needs.
Our approach was to lower the barrier of entry so people could get in and instantly be working through their ideas. We want to encourage people to focus on the elements included in their logo, as opposed to the art of layout or the task of file prep. We've built a really great layout and animation engine that takes care of that. We believe there is real value in this approach and think others will find that true as well.
Thanks again for trying Logo out!
This is the first logo generator I've used that I actually like. The quality of the icons are a step-up from the competition, IMO.
@robotnoises Looks like the icons are just from the Noun Project. :/
Really love this. Great UX, amazing font selection. Bravo team :)

Only thing that undersells this is its unimaginative name.
@saifalfalah I think the name is lit af.
Saif Al Falah
@andrewdumont I mean, it's such a nice tool. Why choose such a generic name?
@saifalfalah ShapeFactory is the name of the set of tools. We wanted each tool within that set to be descriptive.
Saif Al Falah
@andrewdumont Maybe you should have appended ShapeFactory before the tool name.
Saif Al Falah
@andrewdumont Or something like Logo by ShapeShift
@saifalfalah Genuine question: Does every product/business/service name have to imaginative? I would say no.
Saif Al Falah
@joshvoydik why name at all then? Why does anything need a name at all.
@andrewdumont @saifalfalah Technically it doesn't need a name. But naming it makes it easier as a means of reference. To say that it is has to have an "imaginative"name is only an abstraction in which you prefer—which is fine—but I think not totally necessary.
Nice job shipping, gentlemen!
Saif Al Falah
@joshvoydik yes, everyone in the world should be name John Doe. Because we only need a "means of reference" and obviously it doesn't matter if it is generic.
I always think the logos I design myself are good. Then I realize they suck. It's nice a site like this exists. Will be using in the future. Thanks for making it, makers!
@joshvoydik I'm with ya. :)
I'm a graphic designer who's made a bunch of logos, so of course I hated this idea. But when I think about it, the logos created with this tool would be better than 80-90% of the logos out there. I don't think these logos would work for the long haul, they'll get dated pretty fast. But for someone starting out, who's low on funds, this isn't a bad way to go. Nothing replaces a unique logo from an experienced designer, though.
@jbatutis We couldn't agree more. Logo wasn't created to replace a designer or design agency, it's to help the majority that can't afford a professional logo or want to create something quickly that looks great.
This looks great, especially as a developer who struggles with design, I always need a slick, cheap logo for products I make on the side.
Any chance you could tell how this works? I am trying to understand how unique are the logos generated. I remember using Fiverr for my logo needs and was assured from a high rated seller that the logo made for me was unique. 10 mins on google, I could find the exact copy of that logo...
@doutatsu I've been referring to the way we built it as "curated randomness". If I was better at marketing I would probably call it AI. But the logos all have quite a few random elements to them, while staying within some rails.
Even real human designers can have a hard time knowing if a design or logo is unique, so it's hard for our system to guarantee it. But using a unique business name and putting your logo in context really helps. One nice thing ShapeFactory Logo can do out of the box is animate your logo, which helps give it some additional uniqueness.
All that said, keeping it simple but unique is something we're constantly working to innovate on. We retire and add new layouts and typefaces and icons pretty frequently, to keep the app producing fresh designs.
Hope that answers your question, and I think you'll find this a little nicer and custom than most of what you find on Fiverr!
@jasondonnette Your first sentence is what I was looking for. My experience with Fiverr was mostly about some "designers" just ripping off someone else's work. All I want is to get a logo that is unique. It of course could look similar to some others one, but still be unique on its own
I wasn't really convinced at first glance. Then I tried. Now I love it, Great job! :)
So literally your logo typed in different fonts? 👎🏼
Great job! Would love it !! I’m hoping that when we download the logo we don’t have to pay for it. It makes me sad. Hope this.
Great job, guys. I will use it for my next projects.
Clean, simple, Hasslehoff logo design
