Great Product Hugo! I really liked the onboarding and the level of customisation you have on each cereal. I am excited to know what do you have in the roadmap of the product. Can you share it with the community?
@divjpatel did you create a single card? Or multiples? I can't see more than one :O
@divjpatel Thanks a lot for the hunt Divyansh! I'll be writing down a comment for you guys, just need to have a morning coffee first 😇
@imromains I just created one.
@divjpatel @imromains Hello Romain, Divyansh created a story based on a single card indeed. You can of course stack them like you would on Instagram 👌

I'll be there to answer your questions, of course, but the French soccer team is playing a 4pm so expect a bit of latency from me in the afternoon ⚽⚽⚽
This customer testimonial was made by

@hypervillain 🙌 that's me!
@hypervillain Congrats to France!⚽⚽⚽
@hypervillain After playing around with it im definitely exited for the future of your project
You guys should definitley consider adding some design integrations like DesignBold or Stencil and definitely GIPHY + Unsplash
Very well done, @hypervillain. Most important question: Why'd you call it Cereal?
@rrhoover Hey Ryan, thank you for the kind word.
First of all, I believe that whether you're selling clothes online, looking to join a company you love or launching a new product, your story is worth a thousand backs of cereal boxes. These are lucky-charming stories you can read one tap at a time. Perfect for breakfast time!
It's cereals, but also serials: I love how habit-forming breakfast is and I've always been reading stories while eating my morning cereals. I wanted to describe both the bite-sized content (cereals 🥣) and the repetition (serials 🔁)
I've been preparing a landing page that explains it all!
@rrhoover @hypervillain Good question on the name - I kind of figured on the play on words with serial, but "backs of cereal boxes" is intriguing! I think keeping it in singular form ("cereal") consistently is probably best.
@rrhoover @jflyons I actually think you that the singular form is cereals! Kind of like a series?
@rrhoover @hypervillain ok- names often take a little time to get accustomed to. Consistency is key.
@rrhoover @hypervillain by coincidence I think AirBnB back in the day had to hustle with fundraising literally with making and selling boxes of cereal.
Delightful product. I plan on experimenting with it over the next few days. PS: I am backing Uruguay but don't hold that against me.
@rkasturi Finally can upvote this 🙌
Looks awesome! Easy to use interface. I'm going to try it out, I can think of several cool use cases. Can I put the story into my "story" on other platforms?
@mdorsett It's not planned right now but I know it's partially possible! What's your use case?
@hypervillain Just to have it in a lot of places where I see my most traffic!
This is awesome. Will premium version remove the "create your own" button?
@streamnowceo Yes it will! Plus you will gain a user space, a robust tagging system, a lot of possibilities on how to embed your cereals, templates and an API... I'll be rolling out new features in the coming weeks!
@hypervillain that's awesome. Right now that is the only flaw. When it's viewed on mobile the buttons cover up a lot of real estate and don't show all the content.
I've been playing with it for the past few days. Really enjoyable tool to use! With more customisations and flexibility, I'm sure this can be something useful for more people! Here's my take on how people can utilise it for product announcement 😅https://www.trycereals.com/c/shotsnapp-click-drag-bam
@gaddafirusli really, really nice one. I've been using Shotsnapp for the launch and I'm so happy to see you here
The Stories format is the future of media—this is just the beginning. Cool project, Hugo!
Big fan of cereals! We've experimented with it as a medium for a quick onboarding flow at Userfeed. Looking forward to seeing how it develops!
@conarro thank you for the support, Kyle, would you like to share what you've been working on?
Hi Hugo, Amazing product. I think it will be really helpful for startups. Wish you all the luck for future development.
Just one thing I couldn't upload image to the cards. Is there anything wrong with the image upload?
@hypervillain Same happened to me
@sromana14 @lajlev Hello guys, thank you for reporting this. We've hit the free tier storage limits! You'll be able to add images in like 5 minutes as I am upgrading our storage limits *significantly*
Michelle Dawson Silbernagel
Trying out Cereal. Looks promising, but I run into an error message everytime I try to upload an image. Any tips?
It's a great idea, I love it. A little hint for my personal UX taste: swiping other than tapping for mobiles would help not get stuck while navigating cards.
Wow very excited about this, to create something that can help people consume content in the way that they are a) used to now... and b) fun and dynamic. I love the flexibility of integrations as well.
Hey, great product! The service offers the same features as https://www.brandgram.tv. Glad to see another service providing the story format to all.
