Subscribed to this newsletter about a week ago and honestly I no longer feel the need to read the general news at all :) Not sure if that is awesome or dangerous. Regardless, the tone and content is really compelling here.

Homebrew (cc @hunterwalk) invested in theSkimm last week. Here's an article on the who, what, how, and why - As many of you may already know, I'm a big fan of email-first startups ( when it makes sense for the product and user. It will be interesting to see how theSkimm competes with other "news summary" services like Circa and whether people prefer editorial curation.

Been a subscriber for months and my girlfriend LOVES it. Very interested in how it matures into a real business.

Been a subscriber for 6 months and definitely applaud what their doing! Only wishes are that they'd include more current events per email (seems to only cover 1 to 3 per email) and more links to original sources for those of us that want to go read the original journalism (i.e. "Today in Tabs"-style). Long live email newsletters!

Hi all - Thanks so much for your support of @theSkimm! Would love to hear your thoughts on how we can make it more shareable or any other feedback.
This is morning coffee for my brain. Can't start the day without it.
