TBH, I'm not a fan. I gave this app an honest shot a while ago and I respect what it's trying to do but looks matter. In real life, we filter based on attractiveness.
If this app was positioned as a people/friend discovery app, where looks shouldn't be a factor, I would feel differently. But to build a connection with someone with the intention of dating/going out only to discover you're not attracted to them after both parties have invested time getting to know each other, wastes both peoples' time. It can also create an awkward situation of mismatched expectations.
I try to guess through the blur if they're attractive - it's like wearing beer goggles.
